Clever Dexter challenge #18

today I want to share a Zombielicious card I created for this months Clever Dexter challenge

My all time favorite technique is creating backgrounds with my Gelli plate, and for this card I used the photo transfer technique. You apply a dark color acrylic paint onto your Gell plate. You put the photo or page that you want to transfer over the paint (pages from glossy magazines work the best). Press the image down and pull it of. The image is printed onto your Gell plate and now you can transfer it to a blank page or any page you want (cardstock, bookpage,...). So easy and fun, and gorgeous.

I adore this digistamp so much! And I had so much fun coloring her with some coloring pencils. (I am currently using Artezas but I hope Santa will gift me some Polychromos 😛)

I was inspired by the stitched mouth so I added some extra texture with a hand stitched border around the card and a matching quote. 

This card turned out to one of my favorite cards I made so far and I hope I inspired some of you.
